ROG Strix 1000 Watt Gold Aura Edition power supply
The ROG Strix 1000W Gold Aura Edition power supply is housed in a solid, elegant aluminum chassis that also acts as a heat sink for the internal, power transformer, helping to reduce temperatures and minimize noise.
ROG heat sinks facilitate lower temperatures, longer component life and extended 0 dB operation.
The Axial-Tech fan design features a smaller fan hub for longer fan blades and a barrier ring to increase downward air pressure. For the ROG Strix Aura Edition power supplies, we’ve reduced this design to 135 mm to keep things cooler at low revs while producing less noise.
The fan impeller rotates on a double ball-bearing configuration that will last up to twice as long as a sleeve-bearing design.
To reduce noise, the PWM-controlled fan switches off completely when the load on the power supply is 60% or less.
Top-of-the-range Japanese capacitors guarantee efficient operation and have enabled ROG Strix Aura Edition power supplies to achieve 80 PLUS Gold certification. Increased efficiency also means less heat, reducing noise and increasing reliability.
On average, the ROG Strix 1000W Gold Aura Edition emits less than 20 dB of noise, earning it the coveted Cybenetics Lambda A+ certification.
The latest power specification updates have arrived. ATX 3. 0 introduces stricter voltage and current regulation guidelines for next-generation hardware, and the ROG Strix Aura Edition power supply has a head start by being fully compliant. A 16-pincable PCIe, designed to route up to 600 W of power to PCIe Gen 5.0 graphics cards, is supplied with the, power supply, preparing your build for the next generation.
Addressable RGB lighting is integrated into the ROG Strix 1000W Gold Aura Edition, so it’s ready to integrate with the Aura Sync lighting ecosystem, adding aesthetic style to raw power.
